On 2nd August 2003.. after 5 years of being a huge fan I finally got see the one and only Lisa Marie Presley. And it was every bit as good as I'd hoped it would be and better. I drove with my friend Julia who I'd met off a Lisa message board from Memphis to the Ryman Auditorium. We listened to Lisa's album all the way there. Must have played it at least 5 times. lolol. As soon as I got there I heard straight for all the merchandise and I got myself a shirt. After that I went to find my seats and I was surprised by how close I was. I didn't expect to be so close. Not that I was complaining lolol. Lisa opened with Better Beware which was.. well.. amazing! It was without a doubt the best night of my life. Lisa then went on to perform songs like S.O.B. (my fave!!) and Nobody Noticed It. I don't really know how to describe it.. it was mind blowing. It was the best concert I have ever been to. And during the show Lisa interacted a lot with the crowd she was just being herself basically.. and that was quite possible one of the coolest things ever. I love her even more after that show. I didn't think it was possible.
